About

Under Pressure Therapeutics was created by Marissa Orchard shortly after graduating from IBMC for Therapeutic Massage in the spring of 2010.  Fort Collins is the ideal place to build a therapeutic massage clinic because of how many people understand the benefits of regular deep tissue massage, as well as those interested in taking care of issues through “alternative” medicine. (We say “alternative” because we feel that it is the best way to go for caring for oneself.)

Marissa has hired a great team of Licensed Massage Therapists who are skilled, knowledgable, and driven to always make each massage the best experience for each individual client. We specialize in bodywork to help with not only chronic or acute pain and limited range of motion, but also post-injury or post-operation issues, athletic performance and recovery, and much more! That mainly includes modalities such as Deep Tissue MassageNeuromuscular TherapyTrigger Point TherapyRehabilitative MassagePrenatal Massage, and Sports Massage. We always listen to what our clients need and adjust any session to fit those needs.

Our Philosophy:

We believe that each person can live a full life through adding bodywork into their health care regiment. The power of therapeutic bodywork with your individual needs as its focus allows the body to heal and restore itself. But it takes work. It takes dedication. And it takes an accountability partner who will help you.

For each client, we first ask questions to figure out what types of massage will fit your needs and aid in your health and wellness goals before we get started. This ensures that you will get the right massage for you. This also ensures that your health history will be taken into account and that the correct modalities will be used and the necessary precautions will be advised. For more information about the kinds of services we offer, please take a look online, or you can always email marissa@uptmassage.com with questions.

Our mission:

We strive to educate our clientele about massage and other bodyworks that can really benefit their lives and continue to broaden their horizons and give them hope to know that there is a way out of pain and discomfort. Please check out our newsroom for our articles or our library of what Massage is Good for….?  tab to learn more about specific ways we can help you.
